CAS seeks two dynamic researchers to join a group of globally recognised academics exploring issues relating to: the accounting profession; accounting, social structures and relationships; accounting modes of representation; critical understandings of accounting and governance; accounting, uncertainty and major projects; and accounting and popular culture.
Applicants considering contemporary or historical research in these areas are equally welcome. We seek candidates with interests at the interfaces between accounting and sociology, literature, political economy, science and technology studies, cultural studies, and in the humanities broadly defined.
The award will be for three years, subject to satisfactory progress, at the following rates:
- European Union candidates: standard EU tuition fee plus maintenance fee of £14,000 per year
- Non-European Union candidates: standard non-EU tuition fee plus maintenance fee of £14,000 per year
