The IPA is the premier conference for the interdisciplinary study of accounting. It is a major forum for accounting researchers with broad social science interests and those operating in a diverse range of other disciplines with an interest in accounting.
The conference has an established reputation for raising issues about the way that accounting affects, and is affected by, its social, political and economic environments.
The IPA rotates on a three year cycle with the Asia Pacific Interdisciplinary Research in Accounting Conference (APIRA) and the Critical Perspectives on Accounting Conference (in North America). An emerging scholars colloquium precedes the main conference.
The organising team of Shona Black, Arman Eshraghi, Sebastian Hoffmann, Ingrid Jeacle, Hazel Parker, Paolo Quattrone, and Stephen Walker look forward to welcoming you to the conference in Edinburgh University Business School’s centenary year.
