A two day workshop focusing on the potential of humanities-inspired business education will take place on 20 and 21 November 2016.

The Human-Business at Edinburgh (HBe) initiative will be running a two day workshop focusing on the potential of humanities-inspired business education. Distinguished academics will deliver keynote addresses and facilitate a round-table discussion to plan the future steps. Prof Mary Carruthers from New York University and All Souls (Oxford) will explore memory and creative thinking, Prof Michael Anteby from Boston University will discuss the ideology of non-ideology of business education and Prof John Pagett will look at the historical aspects of economic credit in renaissance Florence.

The two day event will be interposed with social and networking events as well as a talk from Edinburgh academics on HBe. All delegates are invited to contribute to the round-table discussion where we aim to explore how the humanities and business studies can fruitfully collaborate.

There is no fee for this workshop but registration is required through the Edinburgh University Business School website.
